Tikka Paneer Wrap Filling
Here is one of my easy no fuss meat free tikka paneer wrap filling that’s made quick, easy and mouthwatering. A mix of heat from the spices, tang from the tamrind chutney and heat from the chillies and spices. I used the Amina wonder tikka marinate and paneer from Woolworths.
Tikka Paneer Wrap Filling

  • 2 (which is 400g all together) blocks of paneer cut in cubes (from Woolworths)
  • 2 tsp chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp jeera powder
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 freshly chopped green chilli
  • Pinch of jeera seeds
  • Pinch of mustard seeds
  • 1 tbsp tikka masala marinate from
  • Amina’s wonders or any other brand
  • 2 tbsp plain yogurt
  • 1 to 2 tbsp coriander chutney
  • 1 to 2 tbsp Tamarind chutney
  • 1 sliced onion
  • 1 cup of sliced colored peppers
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  1. Pour your oil to a meduim heated pan adding your paneer to fry for a minute on either side till light brown.
  2. After two minutes add your mustard seeds, jeera seeds, green chillies, onions and peppers allowing it to sauté for 2 minutes.
  3. Now add your spices letting it coat over your paneer for a minute or so.
  4. Take your tikka marinate and mix in a separate bowl with your yogurt adding it into your paneer mixture. Allowing it to cook for a few minutes. Pour in your coriander chutney and tamerind chutney mixing carefully.
  5. Sprinkle some chopped coriander. Season with salt and pepper. Add your taste here by adding for chutney or spices.

  • You can add more or less of your onions, peppers, spices and chutney according to your liking.
  • For this mixture i made a separate sauce to add to my wrap. It was 2 tbsp of creamy mayonnaise, 1 tbsp double thick yogurt, 1 tbsp coriander chutney and 1 tbsp tamarind chutney.
  • I did a tik tok wrap with the first part smeared cream cheese with grated mature cheddar and my sauce over. Second part my paneer mixture topped with my sauce, third part smeared sauce, salad, paneer mixture on top and fourth part cream cheese, grated cheddar and my sauce. Once folded i buttered each side and toasted on a pan until cheese has melted.
