Soy Sauce And Garlic Edamame Beans
A quick and easy side or snack anyone will love, soy sauce and garlic edamame beans.
Ingredients
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp unsalted butter
2 cups frozen edamame in the shell
2 cloves garlic crushed
4 whole dried red chilies
1 tsp chilli flakes
2 tbsp reduced-sodium soy sauce
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tbsp honey
Method
Heat a large sauté pan over medium heat, add the oil and heat through.
Add the butter and allow to melt then add the frozen edamame to the pan.
Cook, stirring occasionally, until the edamame has completely defrosted and tender, about 5 minutes.
Add the garlic, dried red chillies, chilli flakes and sauté, stirring occasionally, for about 30 seconds.
Pour the soy sauce over the top and toss to coat then season with the cayenne stirring for a minute.
Drizzle your honey and remove from stove.
