Peri-Peri Chicken Fillets
Juicy peri-peri fillets into a big giant cheddar cheese burger with some soft toasted buns. I took the marinate which is the gravy from frying my chicken and added it to the mayonnaise and smeared it onto the bun. Homemade burgers are way better than bought burgers especially this juicy one.
Peri-Peri Chicken Fillets


  • 3 chicken breast (flattened)
  • 1 tsp red chilli garlic and ginger paste
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp plain yogurt
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp tomato sauce
  • 2 tbsp steers peri peri sauce
  • 2 tbsp Amina wonder spice peri-peri marinate
  • 1 tbsp chopped coriander
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • Optional a pinch of food coloring
  • 1 slit green chilli


  1. Marinate all of the above the night before.
  2. These are perfect to grill, braai, air fry or to pan fry, add some butter or olive oil.
  3. You can easily pack them away into the freezer whenever you need to make a salad, sandwiches, wraps or just like a delicious burgers. Remember you can easily adjust the quantity of ingredients according to your taste.
