Masala Fried Fish (The Healthy Plate Spice Blends)

Ingredients

  • 5 meduim to large slices of fresh fish
  • 1 tbsp The Healthy Plate seafood masala
  • 2 tbsp The Healthy Plate Kashmiri mixed masala
  • Pinch of turmeric which can be ordered from The Healthy Plate
  • Salt
  • Lemon juice (1/2 a lemon or 1)
  • Freshly chopped coriander
  • Curry leaves (some chopped and some whole)
  • 1 tsp ground ginger and garlic
  • 1 tbsp oil

Method

  1. Take your all ingredients except your fish and make a wet paste marinade. Once your ingredients are well combined marinate your washed sliced fresh fish (can marinate over night). Fry in shallow oil on meduim heat for about 4 to 5 minutes on either side. Remove and place onto a plate and enjoy!!
  2. You could also grill or pan fry and reheat in oven on grill.
  3. I did a quick pan fry and popped into the oven to grill on low.
  4. Remember the quantity of the above ingredients are approximate amounts, you can adjust accordingly.
