Falafels
There are so many ways of making falafels even to the shape. I made a quick and easy falafel mix with canned chick peas. You can either shallow fry or use an air fryer to cook them till golden brown on the outside. These are perfect to have in a pita or on a flat bread with a cucumber salad, a minty yogurt or humus or a lemony tahini sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 can of washed chickpeas
  • 1/2 cup of diced onions
  • 1 cup of fresh coriander
  • Green chilli according to your taste
  • 1 tsp jeera powder
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1/2 tsp chilli powder
  • Drop of lemon juice
  • 2 heap tsp flour or chickpea flour
  • 2 to 3 fresh garlic cloves
  • 1 & a 1/2 tsp baking powder

Method

  1. Add all of the ingredients to a food processor and process until you get a crumbly smooth texture.
  2. Roll into balls and leave in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
  3. Pop into air fryer till golden brown or shallow fry in a pan.
