Decadent Nutella Crispy Pastry


  • 400g ready rolled puff pastry
  • Nutella
  • Raspberries or sliced bananas
  • 1 egg beaten
  • Silvered almonds
  • Icing sugar


  1. Preheat oven to 150 Degrees C.
  2. Make sure your puff pastry is defrosted. With a rolling pin just lightly roll over the pastry 3 times just to smooth out the pastry flat but don’t apply to much pressure as you want that exact thickness.
  3. Cut out squares with a knife or circles with a scone cutter according to the sizes you prefer.
  4. Add a teaspoon of Nutella in the middle and top it with a raspberry or banana and fold over sealing the edges with a fork to press it down.
  5. Brush the top of the pastry with whisked eggs and sprinkle the almonds over.
  6. Take a baking tray lined with parchment paper and spray with spray and cook. Add your folded pastries onto the baking tray and bake till light golden brown
  7. Dust the icing sugar over pastries once baked.
