Bulletproof Coffee (Butter Coffee)
You’ve probably heard of bulletproof coffee or butter coffee by now – it’s the trend that’s taken coffee to a whole new level. If you haven’t come across it yet, it’s made by blending black coffee with unsalted butter and coconut oil or MCT oil. Besides its great taste, people love it because they find that it helps increase their energy and start off their day right. It’s usually had in place of breakfast especially when intermittent fasting.
Bulletproof Coffee (Butter Coffee)


  •  1 cup black coffee
  • 1 tbsp unsalted grass-fed butter or ghee
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • Optional – sweetener to taste (xylitol)


  1. Brew coffee as usual.
  2. While the coffee is brewing add the rest of your ingredients to blender.
  3. Empty the hot coffee with rest of ingredients, blend until there is a foamy layer on top.
  4. Serve and enjoy.
