Bran Muffins
A delicious source of fibre, bran muffins are both healthy and tasty. Just a mix of freshly ground cinnamon. Tossed with a grated apple, few raisins and a whole lot of exotic nuts, is just the perfect balance. Cannot wait to top this with some butter and grated cheddar cheese. Delicious and filling. Guess how I made these within a few minutes??
Bran Muffins

Ingredients

  • Woolworths bran muffin ready mix

Method

  1. Use the WOOLWORTHS bran muffin premix and instructions.
  2. I added buttermilk (You can add Woolworths plain yogurt 175g and milk 125ml).
  3. Whisk Sunflower oil/melted butter and a large egg together adding to the bran mixture.
  4. Toss in one peeled and grated apple, raisins, pecans and walnuts.
  5. You can even throw in some dark chocolate chips and leave out the apple.
  6. Fill your muffin cups 3/4 way and bake in preheated oven on 180 degrees C for about 20 minutes until brown and skewer comes out clean.
  7. Cool and enjoy.
