My delicious quick and easy authentic Asian prawn and crab clear soup. A soup made in minutes that is absolutely lip smacking hot and satisfying especially for the cold days.
Asian Prawn And Crab Clear Soup


  • 4 cups of seafood broth
  • 1 to 2 cup boiled water
  • 3 tablespoons of gojuchang paste (according to your taste)
  • 3 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • salt according to your taste
  • 10 medium size peeled prawns
  • 4 crab sticks chopped
  • sliced red chillies according to your taste
  • 2 crushed garlic cloves
  • 1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger
  • 3 sliced bok choy
  • 8 snap peas sliced green onions
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Sriracha sauce optional 


  1. Heat your sesame oil in a thick base pot. Add your garlic, ginger and chillies.
  2. Add your broth, water. soy sauce, fish sauce, lime juice, rice vinegar, sugar, siracha and paste. Bringing to a boil. From here you taste and adjust your sauce, paste and sugar amount. You will also add salt here according to your taste making sure to taste before adding. When it comes to Asian soups like this you have to work according to your taste my adding sauces, sugar and paste according to your taste.
  3. Now add your prawns, snap peas, crab and bok choy. Allow it to cook for 3 minutes as prawns n crab shouldn’t be cooked for long.
  4. Remove from stove top with green onions or coriander and slices chillies or chilli flakes.
